Development Engineer |

As test development engineer who will have the
opportunity to research product technical requirements, validate its
performance characteristics, and then developing test solutions for high
volume manufacturing. You will work
collaboratively with definition, design, and application engineers to
root-cause product issues, identify opportunities for resolution, and
ultimately provide quality products to our end customers. You will lead the
overall effort for manufacturing test from product concept to volume
manufacturing including new silicon bring up and debug. You will leverage
data to derive test limits and support data sheet finalization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop semiconductor test plans that enable high volume\low cost solutions
for production test. Detail the
project tasks, schedule, and budget expectations.
Work with design engineers to define testability requirements to ensure
controllability and observability needs are met to support characterization
and manufacturing test.
Utilize Automated Test Equipment to validate new product designs. Communicate performance findings to
technical peers and the development team.
Develop test programs, analyze data results, and generate supporting
documentation.
Confirm that the appropriate process guidelines, specifications, and
strategies have been properly implemented into test programs and plans.
Design interface and measurement circuits that enhance tester capabilities
and ensure compatibility with new product designs.
Work closely with the manufacturing sites to ensure production hardware
solutions and programs are released within the expected delivery dates.
Manage the design, fabrication, and debug of PCB hardware that will be used
during product validation. This
includes schematic generation, component selection, and PCB layout
review.

Bachelor
or Master Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering
required.
5+ yrs of relevant test experience in analog and digital test
development.
Candidate must be highly motivated and able to demonstrate a history of
development experience.
Strong written and verbal skills are required in order to effectively
communicate technical details to internal peers and external customers.
Excellent Presentation and communication in English
Familiar with PCB development software tools such as OrCad and PADS a
plus.
Experience with C\C++ programming techniques desired.
Experience with ETS300, ETS364 & ETS88 testers desired. |

key programs within the Power Solutions Group (PSG) including cost
reductions, quality, manufacturing, development, and customer qualification
responsibilities specific to wafer fabrication and probe.
– Develop, manage, and lead key programs and strategies for PSG:
– Prepare, analyze, and present major initiative business cases to senior
management.
– Build and lead cross functional teams in a matrix organization. Ensure
that the right people, skills, and
work environment exists to be successful. Provide leadership and mentoring
to the team as needed.
– Clearly define the goals and success criteria of new projects/programs
and gain approval from all key
stakeholders and BU Management.
– Develop and refine project plans and budgets including resourcing,
capital, and support needs.
– Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues.
– Prepare and present project plans, gate review assessments, and progress
reports. Communicate consistently and
effectively to all stakeholders.

Technical
Skills
- First-hand knowledge of
manufacturing processes (fab, assembly, test).
- Strong understanding of project
management methodologies, tools, and systems.
- Semiconductor
product/platform/technology development process experience.
- Strong proficiency in applying
process, factory, and product qualification requirements.
- Strong network in fab,
assembly/test, technology development, BU development, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with an
ability to communicate summarized results and conclusions.
- Proficient with engineering and
business statistical methods and analysis.
- Proficient with Microsoft
Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Education and Experience
- BSEE degree or equivalent
technical degree or experience a must.
MBA preferred.
- At least 7-10 years of related
experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Direct semiconductor fab
manufacturing experience and technology/process/product qualification
experience a must. |
